Feburary 14-17 (Wednesday-Saturday), 2007 at the Centre for Information Technology Building, University of Guyana, Georgetown Guyana.

Objectives

To provide technical and overview training for ccTLD registry operators in the Caribbean region. Training is both hands-on and presentation-based. In addition participants will share their experiences and gain knowledge of regional registry practices.
Including:
  • Open Source systems training
  • A full day of intensive DNS training
  • Practical registry methodologies
  • Best practices for domain name structures
  • Discussions and practical for server security
  • The politics of registry management
  • Hands-on resolution of registry issues
