The workshop runs on fixed IP addresses on the 193.0.24/22 network.

The default gateway is configured on 193.0.24.1

DNS

In the workshop we run our own root server. It is configured on 193.0.24.110 and the server is named a.root-servers.work. This rootserver includes all zones available on the ICANN root extended with the work TLD.

Do not run alternative root setups outside lab environments. They are a bad idea

We have configured a recursive nameserver on 193.0.24.112 that uses this root so you can resolve the names in the workshop. Your /etc/resolv.conf is configured to use this recursive nameserver.

The work TLD is ran from 193.0.24.111.
